J&P Group wins contract to provide factory decommissioning and equipment disposal service to CAV Aerospace Group

J&P Group will shortly begin the decommissioning of CAV Aerospace’s aerospace component manufacturing facility at Cambridge which is scheduled for closure on 30^th June 2014. Under the terms of its contract with CAV, J&P Group will decommission and transfer a number of the production machines from Cambridge to CAV’s manufacturing facility at Consett where J&P Group will then install and re-commission the machines prior to them re-entering production.

J&P Group will have responsibility for co-ordinating the sale and removal of all the remaining plant and equipment prior to preparing the factory infrastructure prior to closure.
