J&P Group win contract for plant removals from Magellan Aerospace

As a long-term provider of maintenance and engineering services to the Magellan Aerospace Group, J&P Group has announced that its Machine Removal Division has secured a contract with Magellan to undertake a number of plant removals / transfers between Magellan manufacturing facilities throughout the UK over the next 6 months.

The project will commence early in 2014 with the decommissioning and transfer of milling machines from Magellan’s Belfast plant to its manufacturing facility in Blackpool where J&P engineers will install and re-commission the plant. On completion of this machinery move, J&P will then undertake the decommissioning and transfer of 12 items of plant between manufacturing shops as part of a plant restructure at Magellan’s Llay manufacturing facility in North Wales.
